La Néo- Rustique : Lacquer and Solid Wood
Composed of MDF cabinets and covered with satin lacquer, solid oak and quarter cut veneer, this fabulous kitchen occupies the space creating a balance between volumes. Simple decorative elements such as valences, decorative legs, chopstick inserts and panelling were used to create the rustic/contemporary effect sought. The glass doors, the niche and the support of the «X» island are, meanwhile, the elements that most recall the traditional rustic style. The drawer fronts and diamond-shaped panels, which have been custom-made specifically for this project, are also custom-made. The counters, meanwhile, were designed by our cooks to cover a large space and combine diametrically opposed materials: Silestone quartz and epoxy-varnished barn wood. The prefix “neo” is used to express novelty… This kitchen is called «neo-rustic» and is a contemporary version of the traditional rustic style.
