You want more. More meaning in your work. More beauty in your day. More purpose in your craft.

You are a sophisticated interior designer with a deep understanding of kitchens and modern living. You notice the details others miss and care about how a space feels as much as how it functions. You build strong relationships with clients and collaborators. You lean into innovation, change, and disruption. You are looking for an opportunity to create work that matters with an inspiring team of similar people.

We are Ateliers Jacob.

A second-generation Canadian cabinetmaker and design atelier. We create kitchens and interiors that are rooted in craftsmanship, emotion, and intention. Spaces that feel lived-in and lasting.

Our new flagship showroom is opening in Georgetown. It will be a place of inspiration, conversation, and creativity. A place where designers and clients can experience the depth of what we do.

Our work is meticulous, often complex, and always human. It is meaningful, emotional, and deeply authentic. We respond to constraints with creativity and care. We believe in doing things the right way. With clarity. With beauty. With soul.

If you are seeking a team that values your perspective and shares your pursuit of excellence, we would love to meet you.

Is this what you want? Let’s start a conversation!

Responsibilities:

  • Create modern and innovative kitchen and bath design concepts for residential spaces.

  • Collaborate with clients to interpret their design dreams and project goals into reality

  • Develop detailed technical plans, including floor plans, and elevations.

  • Coordinate and manage the execution of projects.

Requirements:

  • Made a lot of mistakes, learned from them and are not afraid to make a few more.

  • Strong creativity and a keen eye for innovative modern design aesthetics

  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.

  • Proficient in using design software such as Vectorworks, SketchUp, or other CAD programs.

We are offering a competitive salary and benefits package for the right candidate.  We value diversity and inclusion and encourage candidates from all backgrounds to apply.
